Paraa Safari Lodge is a beautiful getaway location situated in Murchison Falls National Park. The Lodge can be accessed through the Pakuba Airstrip, Bugungu Airstrip and the main Arua – Kampala Road. The lodge is located adjacent to the ferry crossing point overlooking the Nile River, in the northern section of the park.
Established in 1954, Paraa Safari Lodge, located in Murchison Falls National Park overlooks one of nature’s best kept secrets, the river Nile. This is on its journey from its source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert, where it is suddenly channeled into a gorge only six meters wide, and cascades 43 meters below.
Situated in Paraa, this lodge is 17.7 km (11 mi) from Murchison Falls National Park’s southern gate and 26 km (16.1 mi) from the northern gate.

The onsite restaurant serves delicious local and continental dishes to guests and the bar offers varieties of drinks. Guests can go on sport fishing along River Nile, enjoy boat trips to Murchison Falls and safari game drives.
