Pakuba Airfield is located in Nwoya District, in northwestern Uganda near Murchison Falls National Park. It serves both the park and the surrounding areas.
The airstrip is controlled by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority and is among one of the five upcountry airfields that are authorized to handle cross-border air traffic from member states of the East African Community. This is part of the efforts to promote regional tourism within the East African region.
