Murchison River Lodge is a comfortable mid-range family, couple, and group lodge located on the southern bank of river Nile, overlooking Murchison Falls National Park, pods of hippos and papyrus islands. In a beautiful natural environment, the lodge offers comfortable and relaxing mid-range accommodation to suit all budgets.
Murchison River Lodge has well-appointed en-suite thatched cottages and thatched safari tents. Each has private facilities and comfortable camping tents already set up around the shaded campsite. If you would prefer bringing your own tent, we have covered areas for self-catering in the campsite, including a fire pit and excellent shower and toilet facilities.
Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s largest national parks and the location of such a diverse habitat means abundance of wildlife, birdlife and tourist activities. Accommodation at Murchison River Lodge
There are 4 thatched cottages that are spacious and comfortable, with attractive furnishing that make each unique. The cottages have open planned with a double-bed upstairs on a mezzanine floor and two single beds, including en-suite, downstairs. Don’t miss the wide verandas that overlook the wilderness.
The furnished thatched safari tents are on the level ground amongst the bush, with three positioned close to the riverbank. All tents are twin shared, although four of them can include a third bed and a baby cot if required.
The 5 comfortable camping tents on level ground around the large campsite area are at the rear of the property, away from the river. These furnished tents are located in the bush, although not self-contained, but guests can still enjoy because of being spacious.
