Kabalega Resort was founded in 2010 with the goal of providing affordable places to stay in the mid-western region of Uganda. The hotel has two branches: one in Masindi and the other in Hoima. The Masindi branch is just a short 4 km drive from the town along the Kampala-Masindi Road, while the Hoima branch is also 4 km from Hoima City along the Hoima-Masindi Road. Both locations are close to popular attractions like Murchison Falls National Park, Mparo Royal Tombs, the stunning Albertine Escarpment, and the Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola.
